Mystery bores me. It chores me. I know what happens and so do you. It's the machinations that wheel us there that aggravate, perplex, interest, and astound me.
It is a mistake to confound strangeness with mystery. The most commonplace crime is often the most mysterious because it presents no new or special features from which deductions may be drawn.
This is all an insoluble mystery to me. It grows darker instead of clearer.
Everyone has secrets. It's just a matter of finding out what they are.
